B:我更喜欢橘子. 询问某人比较喜欢什么，也就是asking what someone prefers，我们可以用like sth better，better是更好的意思，用一个比较级来表达偏爱是很实用的。 2.A:How do Mark and Jones compare,in your opinion? A:在你看来，和琼斯相比马克怎么样？ B:Generally speaking,Mark's personality is much more agreeable than Jones B:总的看来，我认为马克比琼斯性格更让人喜欢。 在这里用到了How do……compare,in your opinion?这个句型，表示…和…相比怎么样，是一种比较正式的说法。这个时候我们用到than这个词，than作为介词是宁愿，含有比较的意思在里面sth is more+adj+than也是很常用的用于偏爱的句型。 3.A: It is a beautiful day. Would you like to take a walk? A:今天天气真好，你愿意出去散步吗？ B: No, I’d rather stay at home than go out. B:不，我宁愿呆在家里也不愿出去散步。 这句话的重点落在了would rather do than do上面 (1)rather than与would连用时，构成“would rather...than...”句式，意思是“宁愿……而不愿……”，表示主观愿望，即在两者之中选择其一。 eg:She'd rather die than lose the children.她宁愿死也不愿失去孩子们。 (2)使用would rather…than…句型时要注意“平行结构”，即在than的前后要用两个同类的词或词组，如两个名词、两个不定式、两个介词短语等。 eg:I would rather go to work by bike than by bus.我宁愿骑自行车也不愿乘公共汽车去上班。 (3)在疑问句式中，would rather与would rather…than…中的would要放在主语之前: eg: Would you rather stay here or go home?你愿意呆在这里，还是回家？ 3.A: I think during the holidays you can stay at home reading novels. A:我想在假期里你可以呆在家里看小说了。 B: I prefer doing something useful outside to staying at home reading. B:我宁愿到外面干点有益的事，好过呆在家里看小说。 在这段对话中，重点注意prefer这个单词 (1)prefer A to B (AB皆为名词) eg:I prefer the blue ball to the black ball.我更喜欢蓝色球而不喜欢黑色球. (2)prefer doing A to doing B=would rather do A than do B=like doing A better than doing B eg:I prefer walking to running.我更喜欢走路而不喜欢跑步. 3.prefer to do A(没有比较，只做一件事的就用这个）=would rather do A eg:I prefer to sing.我更喜欢唱歌。 |
